 Made my graduation cakes a breeze this year!, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Wilton Graduation Cap Pan (Kitchen) I had to do several large graduation cakes this season, feeding 100 people or more for some of the parties. I was able to use my square pans and then stack this cake on top, which gave the additional servings I needed. I would cover the main cake in colored poured fondant and drape with streamers that matched the school's colors, and then decorate the grad cap in stars. Just piped a border at the bottom of both cakes (grad hat and base cake), and all my clients were very, very happy and impressed. One suggestion I have is to spray two metal flower nails with cooking spray and position them at the bottom before pouring in the cake batter. This will help with any uneven baking issues that may have. If you know your oven's temp. (have actually put in an oven thermometer and checked it, not going by what your dial says) and are using the right amount of cake batter, it usually isn't an issue.
