It's a great product, easy to clean, at a great price. Expect about 13" and you'll be happy.I use this over a plate for resting meats after cooking. If you place meats directly on a plate after cooking, the juices will pool under the meat and melt any carmelized browning you may have achieved by searing. Using a rack allows you to keep your sear and still save all those yummy juices in the plate below so you can add to your pan sauce. |
