My first cake fell apart as I dumped it out of the pan...not because I didn't use enough Baker's Joy, but because the cake domed in the middle, and being the novice I am, I didn't realize I need to use a serrated knife and cut the dome off...so, I baked cake #2. This time I spread the batter out towards the sides...it's a very thick batter. It helped some, but I still needed to slice the dome off. After doing that I had no problem. I used the little store bought tubes of icing and decorated it the same as the picture, and it turned out great.
