Honestly though, I wanted something that was visually appealing as well as functional, because when I am not using it for frosting cakes I store my olive oil, salt, vinegar, etc. on it as sort of a 'lazy susan' next to my stove. I've been waiting several years to get a sturdy turntable, so when I got a great coupon from a local store, I bought this one tonight. Boy, was that a mistake. I've learned my lesson. I'll read reviews for EVERYTHING from now on. The table is tilted and extremely wobbly. There's no way I could trust this thing when icing a cake. I'd ice it unlevel, for sure. It's going back to the store tomorrow morning. I had never owned or used a turntable before now. I did all of my icing by rotating it on my counter. This turntable has saved me! I LOVE it! I think it is very sturdy. It has a heavy base, so it does not slip and slide around while decorating. I don't really have a wobble problem. It is very easy to use. |
